Pilates Puts on a Show in Charity Spectacular
Over 100 people took part in Pilates4life “MatGoesMassive” event at Brunel on Saturday 6 December, making it the biggest Pilates class ever in Middlesex. In just one hour the participants learned, rehearsed and perfected a routine comprised of Pilates Classical exercises. The routine was choreographed by Mary Clarke-Mills, Pilates4life’s Creative Director and performed with glamour, glitz, star quality and pizazz, to Kylie Minogue’s ‘Locomotion’.
Pilates is often perceived to be slow, and dull; but our members have brilliantly showcased that it can be fun and entertaining too, as well as being good for you
Pilates4life members have shown once more that they practice Pilates to benefit their bodies but have benefited others as a staggering £3,100 has been raised through this event, sale of T-shirts and donations for LJMC and Nystagmus Network in memory of Anne Walder and Tom Ousby.
