Fact – Pilates was created by a man for men!

However, it has acquired a “girly” image as the majority of participants tended to be women. Those men who “brave” it, and there are now increasing numbers, reap the benefits of:

  • Greater strength
  • Relief from sports induced injury
  • Relief from back pain

Pilates improves performance in the gym and in sport. Many professional sportsmen and women include Pilates in their training regime. For example..

  • British cycling team
  • The All Blacks rugby team
Let’s face it, no-one is going to accuse THEM of being girly OR wasting their time on something that doesn’t get results.
