   Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your trial of a virtual Pilates class last evening.

   With the world’s health crisis imposing so many changes to our every day lives, your thoughtfulness and creativity brought my normal Pilates class into the comfort of my own home.

   All aspects were clearly communicated, from help setting us up on the system, getting the camera in the right position so Mary could see we were doing the exercises correctly, though to the directions and choreography of the class itself.

   Mary and Jeremy always give so much care and attention to their pupils, and with this virtual class it almost felt like you were getting a one to one private session with Mary.

   At a time with the challenges of keeping healthy, it is vitally important we keep strong, both in our bodies and minds. With the exercise and loving attention Mary and Jeremy provide, these virtual sessions will help you with both.

   Mary and Jeremy have been tirelessly working away to bring us online classes to bridge the gap during these uncertain times., for which I am very grateful. After experiencing the trial run last week, I can say that the class was virtually like being present in our ‘normal’ class apart from my cat joining in some of the class! 😁😁 . The instructions were clear coming through the speaker on my laptop and Mary was able to see me head to toe so still had the ability to correct me if I wasn’t quite doing it right . I have also tried this through an iPad with similar success. I will definitely be joining the online sessions to keep up my practice and keep fit whilst in isolation at home.

   The thought of missing so many sessions filled me (and my dodgy back) with dread, so I was overjoyed to hear of these online classes. Zoom is a very straightforward platform and it is easy for me to see Mary, and for Mary to see and correct me.
   The session runs just like a normal class, with the added benefit of not having to get there early to bagsy your favourite spot in the hall! It’s also good as it helps me to de-stress after I’ve watched too much news.

   Attending Mary’s zoom classes over the last year has been a lifesaver. Apart from the wonderful way that Tuesday nights are still pilates despite everything else going on, Mary has worked hard to tailor our classes for the aches and pains associated with living and working at home. Zoom has (scarily!) given Mary a clear view of exactly what we are all doing and she is able to correct and encourage us all. Highly recommended!

   It’s been a god send doing the zoom classes as I’ve moved out of the area and could not have attended in person even if there was no lockdown.
   The need to practice outside of class I’ve really embraced and where I use to see an osteopath monthly this is down to every few months if that! Also, I have learnt to use the foam roller properly with Mary’s instruction which has also helped iron out the work at home aches. Really recommend a clas with Mary to learn the correct techniques. She’s passionate about her job and that comes across and has inspired me to do a little every day.
