This little book is an excellent introduction to the major muscles and muscle groups with clear illustrations of each one showing where to find them and which joints they mobilize or stabilize. Also included are helpful symptoms to identify weakness, potential causes of injury and some self-massage tips to alleviate tightness.
Very concisely written in clear language, The Muscle Book will inform your Pilates practice and other exercise programs. More advanced students will want a more comprehensive directory, but this is an excellent place to start.
